Delapre Lodge
As many of you will have seen in our summer newsletter, delivered to every household in Far Cotton and Delapre, West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) are working in partnership with Delapre Abbey Preservation Trust (DAPT) to deliver DAPT's regeneration vision of the 19th Century Stables and associated buildings, of which Delapre Lodge is one.
The proposed use of the Lodge by Far Cotton and Delapre Community Council will utilise a dilapidated heritage asset providing much needed community support and contribute to the ongoing sustainability of Delapre Abbey. The first step is to obtain planning permission, the planning application was recently submitted.

Delapre Abbey Preservation Trust are developing the necessary funding package for the development, in due course a report will submitted to a future Cabinet meeting at WNC, seeking support in order to help unlock further funding available to the Trust.
